Deanna Tickle

Dr. Tickle is a native of the Burlington area and has worked at small animal hospitals in Burlington and surrounding areas since graduating from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001.  She is a proud aunt to an adult niece who also works in the animal care field, and a nephew in high school.  She shares her home with a sweet Beagle named Lucy and a black and white cat named Velma.

When not at work, Dr. Tickle enjoys traveling, hiking, swimming, reading, baking, and watching aviation videos.  Lucy the Beagle is her hiking buddy, and they can be found hiking trails throughout the NC Piedmont and Mountain regions.  Dr. Tickle has a goal to visit all 50 US states and all 7 continents.
